Rachael Chinnery Todman
SENIOR Pastor
A native of the Virgin Islands, Rachael is the fifth child of the late Pastor Francisco Chinnery, and the late Victoria Blyden-Chinnery.
Sitting on her favorite rock overlooking Meyers Hill, Tortola, British Virgin Islands, Rachael often wondered where the gentle trade winds would blow her in her life’s journey with the Lord. As a young adult, Rachael was active in her local church in Gamble Gade Church of God of Prophecy in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. Her fervor to serve the Lord in whatever capacity He deemed necessary has never waned. Rachael’s exhortation has always been, “be faithful in the little things, and God will trust you with larger ones.”

As a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in The Bronx, New York, Rachael functioned in several capacities for over ten years including young adult Bible education teacher, Care Group Leader, and Church Clerk. She is a Founding Associate Pastor of Love Gospel Christian Center in the socio-economically diverse community of the East Village in lower Manhattan where she served as Elder for Administration and Finance and Christian Education. Rachael serves as an itinerant missionary to Ghana, West Africa and the West Indies. Her duties include planting churches, discipling believers, and training pastors and church leaders. Rachael has served on the Board of Presbyters at Day Spring Glory Church in The Bronx, New York and on the Board of Center for Emerging Female Leadership (CEFL). Concurrently, Rachael has worked in banking and investment banking for over 31 years.

Together with her pastoral duties, Rachael functions as a seminar leader and conference speaker on Christian women’s issues, spiritual maturity and growth, and church leadership and development and oversees a thriving ministry in GA and Ghana West Africa. She counsels and mentors married couples, young adults and mature individuals alike who are going through difficult and challenging life transitions such as family crisis, career transition, divorce and remarriage, loss and grief, and depression.

Rachael received a bachelor’s degree in Urban Ministry from Antioch School of Urban Ministries, a division of Biblical Life College and Seminary. She holds a dual Masters degree in Biblical Education and Pastoral Counseling from Fordham University’s School of Religion and Religious Education. Presently residing in Westchester, New York, Rachael is the proud single-parent of two adult married daughters, Debra and Denise, one grand child, (CJ) and numerous spiritual children.
